Baldur's Gate 3 will be released on PC with NVIDIA's DLSS technology.
The graphics card brand and Larian have announced that DLSS 2 will be available at launch in the highly anticipated role-playing game based on Dungeons & Dragons rules.
In less than 24 hours, we will finally be able to roll the dice on the virtual game board with Baldur's Gate 3, the continuation of this iconic saga that brings the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition to the world of video games and invites us to embark on an epic adventure in the Forgotten Realms.
This final version arrives after nearly three years of early access and will feature much more content than its previous version, as well as technologies like NVIDIA DLLA to enhance the graphic quality and NVIDIA DLSS, the AI-based texture upscaling and smoothing system from the well-known green brand.
According to NVIDIA, thanks to DLSS 2, players using a GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics card will experience up to a 93% performance improvement to smoothly play at 4K and over 60 FPS, even with the RTX 4060 Ti, which, according to the brand, would reach 77.9 FPS.
Additionally, NVIDIA has also announced that DLSS is coming to other games such as Remnant II (DLSS 3), DESORDRE: A Puzzle Game Adventure (DLSS 3), Grand Emprise: Time Travel Survival (DLSS 2), and Lost Soul Aside (DLSS 3).
It's best to uninstall the early access before the release.
Furthermore, to prepare for the launch of the final version of Baldur's Gate 3 on PC, its creators recommend deleting all saved games from early access (which will not be valid in the final version) and completely removing the game from our computer to download it from scratch when the final edition is available, thus avoiding duplicate file errors and potential issues during an adventure that will last at least 75 hours for its main campaign and up to 200 hours if we want to enjoy 100% of its content.
